PFDAVADMIN -  Bulk Operation  - filter with non-regular characters folder name like "Calendário"?
Hello, I'm trying to do the steps in the http://www.itexperience.net/2008/10/22/set-calendar-permissions-with-pfdavadmin/ But on ofr the filter, my calendar folder name is "Calendrio" (Portuguese) and the PFDAVADMIN just don't find the folder. I try the filter: (&(03001001E=Calendrio)) But in the log I got: Folder filter: (&(03001001E=Calendrio)) Mailboxes\ana\Top of Information Store\Calendrio Skipping this folder due to overall filter Operation complete. I try to use the filter in step 4 or 7 only with no success. Anybody know what I have to put on filter to got these folders?

Hi Tiago, I do not have a Portuguese Exchange lab on hand. Therefore, I am not able to test whether the filter 03001001E=Calendrio should be able to work. Nevertheless, I think that you could consider another workaround: 1. Open PFDAVADMIN 2. Click File, and then click Connect 3. Click Tools, and then click Custom Bulk Operation. Leave the Base on Mailboxes 4. In the Overall Filter, create filter like below: (0x3613001E=IPF.Appointment) Note: The filter includes all Calendar type folders. Therefore, if you have any manually created Calendar type folder in Mailbox, these manually created calendar type folders are also included. 5. Click Add to add a new operation. A new window will appear. 6. Verify that Folder Permission is selected and click OK. Another window will appear. 7. Verify that Action is set to Merge. Then click Select to configure permissions you want to set on everyones calendar. At the bottom of the window, a filter can be specified. Using the example above, the filter would be (0x3613001E=IPF.Appointment) 8. Click OK. You will now return to the main Custom Bulk Operation window. 9. Click OK again. The Custom Bulk Operation will start without Warning and will set the permissions on all the calendar folders. Note: I suggest you perform the steps on your lab firstly before applying to production environment. Mike
